I am an educator who has worked in the field of early childhood for 40 years. Most of my passion and inspiration comes from working directly with children, and I keep learning and growing along with them and their families! I taught at RPEP years ago, and brought my own son (now an adult) to the program where we both thrived in such a supportive environment. The parent/adult participation component really creates a home -school connection and strong community of families. Many of my experiences as a teacher have taken place in different preschool environments and all deeply rooted in play. I also write and present on many early educational topics throughout the country on early childhood, to share my experiences with children. I have a B.A. in Early Childhood from San Jose State and a M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. When I’m not in the classroom, I spend time with my family, friends and pets while enjoying nature.
