DISCOVER OUR PROGRAMS

for 2026–2027

At RPEP, every program is rooted in play, curiosity, and community. We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, exploring the world around them with the support of caring adults. Our cooperative model invites parents and caregivers to be part of the learning process, creating a strong bridge between home and school and a true community of learners. Each class follows a consistent and comforting rhythm that encourages both routine and discovery: outdoor play, circle time, free choice, sensory play, snack, more outdoor time, and goodbyes. Within this structure, children are free to imagine, explore, and grow at their own pace.

Bumblebee Class

Days: Tuesday and Thursday

Time: 9:00am-11:30am

Ages: 2 – 5 years

Monthly Tuition: $200

Max class size: 15 students

Join us for an enriching experience where the child and a caregiver explore and learn through play together.

This child-led, play-based class fosters curiosity and connection, catering to each child's unique developmental path. We prioritize outdoor class time, enabling children to learn and problem-solve while actively engaging with their environment.

Together with teacher, families cultivate a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth, confidence, and discovery. Through guided parent education and shared experiences with other families, this program nurtures the development of both children and builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning and connection.

* Potty training is NOT required for this class.

Butterfly Class

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Time: 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Ages: 3*– 6 years

Monthly Tuition: $300

Max class size: 15 students

Our Butterfly class provides a warm, play-based introduction to preschool in a nurturing, community-focused setting. Our Butterfly Class is primarily held outdoors on our large campus, with intentional learning spaces.  This allows the children to explore, create, and learn through hands-on experiences that foster problem-solving, self-regulation, and empathy.

Each day offers a balance of guided activities, imaginative play, and open-ended exploration. Children develop early skills in literacy, math, and critical thinking while developing independence and a growing sense of confidence.

Parent participation is a key part of our program. Caregivers join the classroom once a week as "working parents" to support learning, engage with the children, and strengthen the home-school connection that defines our cooperative community.

*Children need to be 3 by September 1st, 2026 to join Butterfly Class. If your child has begun potty training and you wish to send the child in pull-ups, this is permitted. No diapers please.

Throughout the year, both our Bumblebee and Butterfly classes enjoy local field trips that extend classroom learning into the world around us. Whether exploring a pumpkin patch, visiting the library, or discovering nature at a nearby park, these experiences encourage curiosity, community connection, and hands-on exploration outside of campus.

Reinstating the PM class

In past years, RPEP offered an afternoon (PM) class for families who preferred a later schedule. While the class is not currently in session due to lower enrollment, we'd love to bring it back in the future - and your feedback can help make that happen!

If you'd be interested in a PM class option for your child, please let us know by completing the short form below.

How to Enroll

Who Can Enroll

Children do not need to be fully potty trained to join RPEP. Each enrolled child must have a participating caregiver, but that person doesn’t have to be a parent — grandparents, relatives, and other trusted adults are all welcome. Because RPEP is a cooperative preschool, every caregiver becomes part of our learning community and plays an important role in the classroom experience.

Family Participation

As a parent participation preschool, RPEP runs on teamwork. Families help our school flourish by taking part in monthly parent education meetings, completing maintenance hours, supporting fundraising, and holding a school job or committee position. These shared efforts help us maintain a safe, high-quality environment while keeping tuition affordable for everyone. Learn more about what participation looks like on our Family Responsibilities page.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition varies by program. Because RPEP is a cooperative, family participation and fundraising help keep our costs low while maintaining the quality and safety of our school. Please contact us for current tuition rates and fee information.
