Meet Our Teachers
We are dedicated to helping your children grow & explore...
Our school participates on the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS) state board as well as the Sacramento Council Board. Here at RPEP, we believe that play is foundational to a child's learning. We are excited to play and learn with the children and parents of RPEP!

I first found RPEP as a mom looking to connect with parents in the same life stage as me. After touring the charming school, I knew the opportunity for imaginative play and to connect on my volunteer days with not only my children but the other families and teachers here was the perfect place for us. As a mom of two and as an educator, I was looking for a program that would offer my children a perfect introduction to school, PLAY! After teaching and coaching teachers in the primary and early years, I understand the crucial elements of play, inquiry, risk-taking and collaboration with peers for all learners. After a year of being a volunteer parent for my oldest and the participation chair for my toddler, I fell in love with the school even more! It is a wonderful environment for children and parents alike.
I hold a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Best Practices and have over 15 years of educational experience including being a Children's Director for 3 years. I am excited to be a part of this community and teaching staff as the A.M. teacher alongside being the director. I am a Bay Area native and we relocated to Roseville, CA to raise our children and be close to family. - Miss Keri

It seems like it was my calling to be a teacher. I’ve worked with young kids for as long as I can remember and have a lot of experience in early childhood development through different jobs and volunteer positions. After earning my Bachelor’s degree, I moved to Germany to teach ESL for 2 years to kids in the school district and returned to complete a multiple subject teaching credential. I taught P.E. for grades K-6 for one year before stepping away from teaching after having my son to start a new job as mom. I found RPEP as a parent in 2012 and have been a part of the RPEP community ever since. My 2 oldest kids did the toddler and AM classes and I served on the Board for 2 years. RPEP was the perfect opportunity to step back into a teaching role in a program I love so much! - Miss Alyssa

I have been a part of the RPEP community since 2012 when I joined the Toddler program as a parent with my son. Since 2012, I have attended four and a half years of Toddler Classes, two years of AM and two years of PM classes for both my son and daughter. Last January I had the pleasure of starting Toddler Class with my youngest child, Sofia.
I have a Bachelors of Art degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in business administration from Chico State. I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Fresno State. I started my teaching career as a preschool teacher and then moved up to teach first grade. When my son was born, I took a break from teaching until I began substitute teaching at RPEP in 2013. In 2016 I came on board as the AM teacher. Last year I was blessed to team-teach with Miss Molly and I had a great time collaborating new ideas with her.
This year I am thrilled to be teaching the Toddler Class and still have time to collaborate with Miss Keri and Miss Alyssa! My passion is to teach parents about the importance of play based learning and of course working with little children. RPEP is an amazing program that has prepared my children for elementary school and I am so glad I get to share this experience with others in our community. - Miss Kristy
