Meet Our Teachers
We are dedicated to helping your children grow & explore...
Our school participates on the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS) state board as well as the Sacramento Council Board. Here at RPEP, we believe that play is foundational to a child's learning. We are excited to play and learn with the children and parents of RPEP!

I'm absolutely thrilled about RPEP!
Over the last decade, I've actively been involved with RPEP, an incredible journey. Starting with my eldest in the Toddler class in 2013, and concluding with my youngest who's about to turn 5. I cherished every moment in the PreK class last year.
We're truly fortunate that all three of our children had the opportunity to be a part of this school. Not only did it provide an excellent learning and socializing environment, but it also supported me tremendously as a new parent, leading to lifelong friendships.
I'm elated to continue my journey with RPEP this year as a Substitute Teacher and in my new role as Admissions Coordinator. Anticipating another amazing year at the Preschool, I'm excited to connect with all the new families joining us.

I have been a part of the RPEP community since 2021 as a parent and board member and am very excited to join the teacher team! Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was a child and preschool age has always been my favorite! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Master's degree in Teaching Reading from the University of San Francisco. In 2012, I started my teaching journey as a preschool teacher. After that, I taught students in kindergarten and 2nd grade until 2020, when I took a break from teaching after my son was born. I started back as an ESL teacher and substitute teacher at RPEP in 2022. I am eager to return to teaching at a school that I am passionate about.

Children are my joy, and I feel honored that my life has been filled with so many opportunities to work with them and their families. I earned my BA in Public Relations from the University of Southern California and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Sacramento State. I began my professional career as an educator teaching at the lower elementary level, first as a third-grade teacher and then as a substitute in order to have more time with my new son. I also had a fun time and honed my parachute and bubble skills while supporting children (birth to age 6) and their families as a teacher at Gymboree Play & Learn.
My three sons all attended a parent participation preschool, and my husband and I continue to volunteer at their current schools. My 11 years experience working at a parent participation preschool as both a parent and Teacher/Assistant Director makes RPEP such a perfect fit. Joining RPEP as a substitute teacher further proved to me that this is where I am meant to be. I love and share RPEP's philosophy of developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and wholeheartedly support our focus on parent education and involvement. It is truly a blessing to teach in an environment that values children and families and stays true to evidence-driven best practices in early childhood education. I am excited to join the RPEP staff and community as the PM class teacher!

I have been apart of RPEP for eleven years! My journey began in 2012 when I started as a parent in the toddler program with my son, Jackson. In 2016 I started teaching the AM program and since then I have had the opportunity to teach all three classes our school had to offer. All three of my children have attended RPEP and they are thriving in elementary school from the foundation RPEP provided.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with and emphasis in business administration from Chico State. Previously, I taught first grade and I have had many opportunities to substitute teach in kindergarten.
RPEP is a place I absolutely love! I enjoy connecting with families and learning about each family’s journey. My connection to RPEP as a parent and teacher has brought so much enrichment to my life and I look forward to sharing that with all of the families this year!

I absolutely love kids and have a passion for the foundational years of learning in early childhood as well as supporting parents in this season. I have a lot of experience working with young kids through different jobs and volunteer positions. I have a multiple subject teaching credential and have taught at the elementary level as well as teaching English as a Second Language in Germany for 2 years. I stepped away from teaching when I had my firstborn and found RPEP as a parent when my son was just a toddler. I fell in love with the program, the school and the community we were building together. I have 3 kids that all had the opportunity to attend RPEP and we all have such fond memories of their time here. It’s a great joy to continue teaching at a place I wholeheartedly believe in!
